This work originates from my participation in the JOTA: AIR residency program in 2019, located in the remote mountains of Spain. The area is renowned for its abundance of fossils and prehistoric cave paintings. The dry climate and ample sunlight have weathered the exposed rocks, creating a wealth of stone fragments as artistic material.

Using these stone fragments, I experimented with recording modern life through the medium of mural painting. By adopting the methods of ancient ancestors, I sought to create rock murals that encapsulate contemporary stories, bridging the distant past with the present.
