The Industrial Age gave birth to modern society, shaping a beauty of standardized, mathematical, new, and equal order. The fast-moving consumer goods produced by industrial assembly lines have altered the way we perceive the world, as we constantly anticipate flawless new products, and the rapid pace of change leaves no room for waiting.
This work is a practical exploration of the theme “Subjective Definition and Objective Existence.” Drawing on different historical understandings of beauty, it attempts to merge classical beauty with industrial modern aesthetics through a non-standard, imperfect machine model slice.
